Man oh man, what a weekend I've had. Highlights include me getting sick in the middle of a movie and thinking my rabbit is dying. I'm glad that August is well and over, too, because it was a rough month for me, as was July. My big hope for September is simply that it won't blow.

I bought a new bra on Sunday, and now I really wish I'd tried it on in the store, because it's a little too tight. We were rushed for time, trying to make it to the movies, boo. Never making that mistake again.

I did not delete ALL my old LJ icons, but everything I did keep was renamed. I feel so much better, and I've still got loads of space yet to fill. Now I just need to update IJ, too.

The rabbit is okay. He had an abcess, which was filled with some of the most stank puss EVER, I fucking swear. It was so foul. He is on antibiotics and pissy because he had to have his face shaved. The vet's hoping it will clear up and they won't have to lance it, bleh.

I see by the giant, sparkly letters on my flist that miss_charmed is having a Multi-Fandom Anonymous Crush Meme. It's just started, so go share some love or something.

I don't think icons get much cooler than this one.

There is very little in this world that consistently incites as much rage in me as people who speed through school zones. I know that they can be annoying (Oh, do I ever -- I have to go through 3 on my way to work), but they serve a PURPOSE. This doesn't even have to do with liking kids, because I don't. But God, when someone zips past me in a school zone, it seriously makes me want to rip them from their car and beat their head against the pavement. That is how much it pisses me off.

In other news, my rabbit is sick. I noticed a few days ago that he didn't seem to be eating, and yesterday morning I noticed that the left side of his face is all swollen. There's a pretty big bump under there, but we're hoping that it's just an infected tooth or something as opposed to cancer, because it came up really quickly. Lacy's got to take him to the vet this afternoon, so I guess we'll just see.

I hate when your choices are either tell someone something because you want them to know the truth, or not because it will hurt their feelings. I usually just say nothing.

I'm almost glad that we're broke right now, because it gives me absolutely no excuse to go to Dragoncon. There's just something about the name Dragoncon that immediately increases your Nerd Quotient just by mentioning it, and I'm quite nerdy enough, even if part of me would love to waltz up to James Marsters after he's been talking Buffy all day and ask him if John Barrowman's lips are life-bringing.

God, I am so sick. Not sudden, puking your brains out sick, but pervasive icky sick. All last week I was letharic and worn, I had a sore throat on Thursday, but I thought it was just from sinus drainage. I really should have paid it more mind, because now it's back with a vengeance and I've had to call in to work again.

So, this is my first official "cross-posting with Semagic" post, and it's been a long time coming because truth be told, I've been purposely keeping my head in the sand. All this LJ business has been weird, and I've felt like I'm in some kind of online journal limbo because I feel like I can't -- Shouldn't -- go back to how I normally do things, but don't yet have a new routine. I guess this is me establishing said new routine, I dunno. I don't have much more to say, really, aside from that I have a really awful sore throat and I'm still here.

Oh, and if I don't do anything else today, I'll be setting up my new media blog. Finally. More on that later.

How much do I love that paid members here can add new journal styles? A LOT. Oh journal, you feel almost like home now with your shiny Smooth Sailing shipperness, even if I have to tweak some things.
